beqom, a cloud software provider of compensation management solutions for large organizations, has been rapidly growing its U.S. operations and continues to increase staffing in its Southport, Connecticut office. The Connecticut location opened in early 2018 and has become the company’s support hub for the U.S. East coast.
Headquartered in Nyon, Switzerland, beqom has had operations in the U.S. since 2009 and a beqom development and service hub in Bellevue, Washington since 2011, but recent growth and increased traction in the U.S. market have prompted hiring in the Fairfield County location. Located near the Southport train station, the office is a commuter train ride from New York City, where beqom has major clientele, particularly in the financial services industry.
“We had teams operating in the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut region in disparate locations, and centralizing in the Southport location offers a great work environment along with proximity to New York City,” said Yves Steinhauser, beqom CFO. “With the U.S. contributing more than 50% of our revenues and growing rapidly, we will be continuing to expand our capacity to serve customers and address the market throughout North America.”
