beqom, a cloud-based compensation software provider, today announced that it has been identified as a sample vendor in the Gartner "Hype Cycle for Human Capital Management Technology, 2019.” beqom was named in the Compensation Allocation for Line Managers category¹.
According to the report, “Compensation allocation tools for line managers are increasingly being deployed to enable fairer and more informed compensation decisions and outcomes. They generally offer mature functionality, with many incorporating reporting and analytics based on workers’ performance to inform compensation changes.”
Gartner anticipates a continued shift from homegrown to commercial off-the-shelf compensation allocation tools in the midsize to enterprise-sized market, driven by “a need for improved engagement with workers and fair compensation processes to address mandatory ‘gender pay gap’ reporting,” the report states. “The issue of pay gap equity across the workforce will continue to be a priority in the future.”
“It comes as no surprise to see pay equity highlighted as a priority in Gartner’s HCM Technology Hype Cycle,” says Tanya Jansen, beqom CMO. “We see organizations committed to take action to identify and close pay gaps that are selecting beqom for its capabilities to run compensation processes with visibility, transparency, traceability, and compliance.”
beqom’s end-to-end compensation management solution provides comprehensive, flexible tools that integrate directly into a company’s HR suite, enabling businesses to manage and reward their people without compromising on strategy.
