Business Development Manager


The role

We are looking for a brilliant demand generation/business development team lead who will support a wide range of demand generation activities to help identify, nurture and qualify new leads by promoting beqom’s products and services, whilst also managing the demand generation team to help the sales team achieve their sales targets.  

This role will be based in Southport, CT.

What you will be doing

  • Tracking and monitoring of all leads and activities in Salesforce and Hubspot
  • Reporting on the lead generation pipeline using appropriate KPI’s and providing weekly reports on the team’s efforts and ROI
  • Managing the quality and productivity KPI performance of the Lead Generation team
  • Leading, managing and coaching the Lead Generation team to identify, engage and convert prospects into sales ready opportunities
  • Maintaining a performance management framework for the team
  • Working alongside the Marketing team and in close cooperation with the sales team
  • Generating a robust pipeline of MQLs through the utilization of strategic marketing and lead generation initiatives and tools
  • Identifying and assess data sources to maintain high standards of list integrity and strategic targeting to ensure quality leads
  • Outbound calling, engaging with and developing prospects to be closed by Sales team
  • Nurture leads to secure appointments with Sales Reps in vertical markets in the US
  • Follow up with prospects who responded to marketing activities and campaigns
  • Assist marketing with upcoming projects and hosting local events
  • Research and monitor current industry trends, strategies and technology to provide insight on ways to improve the lead-generation conversion rate.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of sales or demand generation experience
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Hubspot
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills via the phone and e-mail
  • Ability to research and maintain contacts
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the company and with various business contacts outside of the company in an articulate professional manner
  • Ability to assess prospect’s “fit”
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent probing and listening skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in using LinkedIn and other social media channels
  • Commercially driven
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated
  • Proactive work attitude, hardworking, problem-solving and results-driven
  • Collaborative team player
  • Intellectually curious - prepared to challenge and be challenged
  • Adaptable and flexible to meet demands, relentless and passionate to get the job done
