By leveraging Microsoft Azure, beqom’s core services also fulfill the security, privacy, compliance, and risk management requirements as defined in the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Cloud Control Matrix (CCM). Through the EU Standard Clauses with Microsoft, Microsoft is permitted to legally receive and process personal data from within EEA countries and Switzerland in alignment with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the EEA member States’ data privacy laws, and the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act. beqom provides its European customers with platforms hosted in Azure data centers located in the EU and does not transfer any such personal data abroad without its customers’ prior consent.
