beqom, provider of cloud-based compensation management software, has announced that Finnish insurance group LocalTapiola (LähiTapiola) has implemented beqom’s sales performance management software to boost annual sales performance and ensure accuracy and efficiency in the payment for more than 2,000 salespeople.
“As part of our strategic change initiative, we were looking for a sales performance solution that could help us create an agile salesforce, able to adapt to change and deliver excellent customer care, while also effectively cross-selling.” says Jari Collan, Director of Compensation and Benefits at LocalTapiola Group. “We saw that beqom would enable us to not only align and motivate sales behavior, but eliminate commission overpayments, model sales incentive plans, and dynamically manage quotas and territories.”
With 29 entities, numerous agencies, as well direct sales reps, LocalTapiola was seeking a system that would encourage sales behaviors that lead to a superior customer experience. It chose beqom’s solution to replace a semi-manual Cobol-coded commission calculation system, enabling sales reps and agents to get daily updates on their sales performance and commission earnings, as opposed to only receiving only monthly updates from the old system.
“By providing sales reps with real-time data we are providing them with the information and motivation they need to achieve their targets,” said Collan.
The beqom solution will also provide better integration with some 15 other systems and improve controls for workflow and approvals of commissions, supporting transparency, governance, and compliance. beqom’s new Analytics module is providing all stakeholders at LocalTapiola with clear and timely data visualization and analytics to help users quickly understand current data and make informed decisions to adapt to fast-changing market conditions.
