Milan, May 18, 2012: beqom announces today the winners of the 2011 Best Project of the Year award: Telecom Italia and Accenture.
beqom has selected the Telecom Italia project, managed by Accenture. The award is based on the value Accenture provided to Telecom Italia by delivering, in a very short period of time, an exceptional application for the Consumer and Business Sales Forces.
Telecom Italia selected beqom after a very careful and thorough software selection that took five months. beqom was a relatively new company to the Italian market and Telecom had to make sure to consider all aspects, as this decision was very strategic for Telecom Italia. beqom was selected for its user friendliness and the ease with which it can be adapted to manage the incentive plans of dealers and agencies for both Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer divisions.
The implementation was on time and on budget. Thanks to the new commissioning application now running on beqom, Telecom Italia achieved three main results. Firstly, Telecom has full traceability of the commissioning process. Secondly, Telecom improved the overall quality of the commissioning process, decreasing operational tasks and increasing the ability to adapt, control and manage incentive plans. Thirdly, Telecom was able to clearly define the responsibilities of the Business Users, being responsible for the commissioning process, and the IT organization being responsible for the data. The deployment of beqom by Accenture immediately resulted in strategic value to Telecom business. These are the considerations that emerged from the meetings held with Telecom and Accenture during the project.
